Women’s Link is published on the 15th of January, April, July and October.
Each issue is devoted to a chosen theme, significant, and announced in advance. Papers/ Articles are invited on these announced themes.
The Journal also carries non-thematic papers, reports of events like workshops, seminars etc., reflections, book-reviews, organizational profiles, data and legal corner.
The journal carries a few pages in Hindi so that the grassroots stories of movements and struggles from northern and central belt may also get appropriate space and coverage.
Writings have to be based on experience, studies and reflections.
Papers should range between 4000-5000 words. One can also write shorter write ups, or case studies containing the analysis.
Each contribution should be accompanied by an abstract/summary of around 150 words and a short biographical note/s on the author/s.

Photographs, sketches, diagrams and databased studies will be very useful.
Notes in the text should be numbered and expanded at the end of the text in the form of
i. Endnotes: Use of any reference in the endnotes should be in a consistent style similar to that of the text (for example: Acharya, P. K., 2007) and should be expanded separately in the “Reference” section with all relevant information according to the Reference format.
ii. All figures and tables should appear at the relevant places in the text and not at the end of the article. All figures and tables should be referred to by their numbers in the text (for instance, ‘See Table 1’, ‘See Figure 3’). The titles of the tables and figures should be brief and to the point. Tables and Figures should mention the source which should be placed at the bottom of respective tables and figures.
iii. References should be embedded in the text in a consistent style, for instance, (Acharya, P.K., 2007). The full details of this Reference should then be provided in the Reference list in alphabetical order starting with the author(s)' surname(s) in the following format:
