Tribal & Dalit Unit

Tribal & Dalit Unit

The Tribal and Dalit Unit has been operationalising its plans and strategies for the empowerment of the priority groups, particularly Dalits and Tribals, on issues confronting their livelihood, survival, holistic development and rights. Apart from research projects at the grassroots level, the unit has been making policy interventions too.

The unit believes in enabling and empowering the marginalized groups to lead a life of dignity and respect, through its regular training programmes, workshops, etc.. It also networks with many organizations/institutions dealing with the same issue.
