SUBALTERN is a quarterly bulletin brought out by the Institute primarily to initiate a debate on some current issues of national and international importance. For many years the Institute has been a part of civil society initiatives. Its presence at various forums and platforms is reflected in this newsletter. The articles address vital questions and critically examine the relationship between the state and its people. It reaches diverse segments of society with valuable insights on the relevant issues and the interventions of the Institute through its research, trainings and publications.

It gives a glance into the involvement of the Institute and also the latest publications based on the work of the researchers. It has a wide circulation and more than 3000 copies of this newsletter are sent to various Institutes, Libraries, Colleges, Organizations and Individuals.
